Responsibilities
The Economic Development Department is responsible for:
- Providing services for business placement, retention, expansion, and recruitment
- Providing programs dedicated to making the community and workforce better
- Creating a marketing strategy for the city
- Hosting and sponsoring a variety of workshops and seminars to help businesses grow
